about Talasi
Talasi Guerra is a Christian author and communicator who is passionate about living an embodied faith and empowering others to do the same. Having traveled across the globe to bring a message of hope to children, students, and adults in all kinds of different settings, nothing excites Talasi more than watching a “light-bulb moment” happen. She lives to communicate biblical principles in relevant ways that inspire, challenge, and awaken others to live out their God-given purpose.

Through her own journey of trauma and healing, Talasi has experienced God's transformative work, which fuels her passion for bringing hope and healing to others—especially women in the church who have experienced silencing, gender discrimination, or abuse. After serving as Communications Director for Women Speakers Collective, Talasi has recently stepped into a coaching role within the organization, where she helps women navigate their calling and unleash their voices.
Beyond writing, preaching, and coaching speakers, Talasi also has a heart for the local church. After spending nearly a decade serving as the Director of Children and Family Ministries at a large church in western Canada, Talasi loves developing leaders and setting up ministries to win. She has been involved in training and equipping Christian leaders since 2010, and in addition to speaking at conferences and seminars, Talasi also offers individual coaching to family ministry teams.
Talasi lives on Canada’s west coast, on the traditional, unceded territories of the qÌ“ic̓əyÌ“ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ənÌ“ (Kwantlen), Máthxwi (Matsqui), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) First Nations, where she navigates ministry, motherhood, and memory-making with the people she loves.
